World Championship of Legends: Pakistan reaches final after India refusal

Birmingham: In the 2025 World Championship of Legends, India once again refused to play against Pakistan, this time in the semi-final, scheduled for Thursday in Birmingham.
According to Cricinfo, India’s withdrawal resulted in a walkover for Pakistan, who now reach directly to the final, where they will face either Australia Champions or the South Africa Champions.
This is the second time during the tournament that India has declined to face Pakistan — a group stage match was also cancelled due to India’s refusal, with both teams awarded one point each.
The ongoing tension stems from political strain between the two nations, continuing to impact sports diplomacy.
