India blocks PM Shehbaz Sharif’s YouTube channel, removes speech

Islamabad: India has blocked the official YouTube channel of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and also had one of his speeches removed following a complaint.
According to YouTube, the removal of the content is subject to appeal. This move comes after India previously blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, citing national security concerns.
The Indian media claims these channels were exposing the truth behind alleged false flag operations and countering official narratives. In a similar wave of restrictions, the social media accounts of several prominent Pakistani celebrities — including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Sajal Aly, Saba Qamar, and Hania Aamir — have also been blocked or limited.
Analysts say India’s actions reflect an attempt by the Modi government to divert public attention from its internal failures and growing unrest.
