YouTuber Micaela Renz Dies by Suicide Amid Online Harassment

Micaela Renz, a 29-year-old prominent animal rights advocate and founder of the “Save A Fox” rescue organisation, has tragically died by suicide. Her husband, Ethan Renz, confirmed the heartbreaking news via a statement on social media.

According to international media reports, Micaela had been suffering from severe online harassment for years and was undergoing therapy and medication to cope with mental health challenges.

Ethan shared that Micaela was deeply sensitive and had been struggling under the weight of constant emotional pressure. He revealed that not only strangers but also individuals from within the animal welfare community were involved in spreading false rumours about her.

“She endured years of pain, but this time, the battle was too much. The trolling left a lasting impact on her mind and heart,” Ethan said.

He added that Micaela had found it increasingly difficult to cope with the pressures of daily life, and the negativity eventually overwhelmed her.

Micaela is survived by her husband Ethan, their daughter Freya, and the dozens of animals she lovingly cared for at her rescue facilities in Minnesota and Florida.
