Zoheb Hassan Urges Government to Award Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Late Actress Humaira Asghar

Renowned singer Zoheb Hassan, brother of the late pop icon Nazia Hassan, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of actress Humaira Asghar and called on the government of Pakistan to posthumously honour her with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of the country’s highest civilian awards.

In a heartfelt social media post, Zoheb stated that awarding the Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Humaira would serve as a meaningful recognition of her struggles and contributions as a woman in the challenging world of showbiz. He added that such an honour would provide solace to Humaira’s grieving family and reassure them that her efforts and legacy have not gone in vain.

“She deserves national recognition for the courage and perseverance she showed in an industry that is not easy for women,” Zoheb said in his message.
