Security forces killed seven Indian-sponsored terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Sherani District. The operation was launched on October 1, 2025, based on confirmed intelligence reports. These reports revealed the presence of terrorists from the proxy group, Fitna al Khwarij. The group has links to Indian intelligence agencies, according to officials. The operation marks a major success in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

During the operation, security forces surrounded the terrorist hideout. A heavy exchange of fire took place between the two sides. After the intense clash, all seven terrorists were killed. The ISPR confirmed that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered. These terrorists had been involved in multiple attacks in the area.

The military’s media wing praised the success of the mission. It stated that the terrorists were part of Indian-sponsored networks. These groups aim to destabilize Pakistan, especially in sensitive regions like Balochistan. Their elimination is a major blow to hostile efforts in the area. The army remains on high alert to prevent further threats.

Following the operation, a sanitization process began in the region. Security personnel are searching the area for any remaining threats. The goal is to clear the region of any hidden terrorists. Local cooperation is being encouraged to support the operation. The army also aims to restore peace and confidence among residents.

ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm resolve to fight terrorism. It stated that all enemies of peace would be brought to justice. The military is committed to ending foreign-backed terrorism inside Pakistan. Citizens were asked to stay alert and report any suspicious activity. National security remains the top priority for the armed forces.
