Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s Film Jatt Lands in Controversy

Bollywood stars Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda are in legal trouble after a case was filed against their film Jatt for allegedly hurting the feelings of the Christian community.

As per Indian media, police in Jalandhar have registered a case against the film’s director Gopi Chand Malineni, the producers, and lead actors. The case accuses them of showing a scene that promotes religious hatred.

The controversy is about a scene where Randeep Hooda’s character stands under a holy cross in a church while violent scenes play out. The Christian community found this disrespectful.

The complaint also says that the movie was released during Easter and Good Friday to create anger and tension.

Jatt stars Sunny Deol in the main role and Randeep Hooda as the villain. The film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, and Jagapathi Babu. Released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the film has earned around ₹32 crore at the box office.
