Pakistan’s Economy Crosses $400 Billion Mark, Reaches $411 Billion in FY2025

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s economy has officially surpassed the $400 billion milestone, with the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reaching an estimated $411 billion for the fiscal year 2025, according to the National Accounts Committee.

The committee reported a 2.68% GDP growth rate, reflecting modest but positive momentum in economic activity across sectors.

Economists note a 9.3% annual growth in GDP in dollar terms over the past five years, highlighting a consistent upward trend despite challenges such as inflation, currency fluctuations, and global economic uncertainty.

This achievement comes as a significant milestone for Pakistan, with analysts pointing to improvements in exports, remittances, and certain areas of industrial output as key contributors to the economic rise.
