Islamabad: Sweden has officially announced the restoration of its visa services in Pakistan, allowing Pakistani citizens to apply for short-term visas starting July 7, 2025.
According to the Foreign Office, the decision came after political consultations between Pakistani and Swedish officials in Stockholm, led by Pakistan’s Additional Foreign Secretary and Sweden’s Director General for Global Affairs.
The reinstated visa services will enable Pakistanis to apply for 90-day short-stay visas, facilitating business, tourism, and family visits.
The Foreign Office welcomed the move, calling it a reflexion of the strong and growing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Sweden.
