Bollywood Actor Govinda Faces Divorce Rumours, Lawyer Denies Any Issue

Bollywood actor Govinda has recently been at the centre of divorce speculations after news surfaced that his wife, Sunita Ahuja, filed for divorce in Bandra Family Court.

Reports on 22 August claimed that Sunita Ahuja cited infidelity and marital disputes as reasons for the divorce, invoking various provisions of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. The news sparked widespread media coverage, raising questions about the couple’s relationship.

However, Govinda’s lawyer, Lalit Bhandra, dismissed the rumours in a statement to the media. He stated that there is no ongoing issue and that everything is being resolved privately. “People are just bringing up old matters,” he added.

The lawyer further reassured the public, mentioning that during the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the entire family will be seen together. He even invited the media to visit their home to witness the celebrations firsthand.

Recently, Govinda was spotted at Mumbai airport, appearing calm and unconcerned about the divorce rumours. Fans and onlookers noted that the actor seemed focused on his professional and family commitments rather than media speculation.

The matter continues to generate headlines, but official sources close to the actor insist that the reports of marital discord are largely exaggerated.
