20 Terrorists Killed

Security forces have neutralized 20 militants linked to the banned group “Fitna al-Khawarij” during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported the success of these operations on Monday, November 10, 2025. The operations took place over November 8-9, 2025, and involved intense engagements with militants in two separate districts of the province.

The first operation occurred in Shawal, North Waziristan, after intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants in the area. Security forces engaged the militants and successfully killed eight members of the Indian-sponsored “Fitna al-Khawarij” group. The clash resulted in the militants being effectively neutralized, and the area is being sanitized to prevent any further threats.

The second operation took place in Dara Adam Khel District. After an intense exchange of fire, twelve more militants were killed. The security forces’ rapid response in both locations highlights their continued efforts to eliminate terrorism in the region. These operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing Counter Terrorism campaign under the national action plan “Azm e Istehkam.”

The ISPR statement emphasized that these operations were targeted at foreign-sponsored militants, particularly those with links to Indian proxies. The operations aim to dismantle networks of terrorism and ensure peace and stability in the region. The military is committed to maintaining pressure on terrorist groups, with continued operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The security forces’ relentless efforts to eliminate terrorism are in line with Pakistan’s broader counterterrorism strategy. Sanitization efforts will continue to clear out any remaining militants. The campaign, supported by law enforcement agencies, is set to continue with full force to wipe out terrorism from the country.
