Ishaq Dar Highlights Urgent Need to Stop Gaza Atrocities

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent need to end atrocities in Gaza and the occupation of Palestinian lands. Speaking at the European Union Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels, he highlighted the importance of international cooperation to address global challenges and promote peace in the region. Dar stressed that artificial intelligence is reshaping the world and that Pakistan prioritizes adherence to UN principles.
He warned that certain elements are trying to destabilize the region and that conflicts fueled by division and the race for power pose dangers to both the region and the world. He urged nations to work together to prevent further instability and human suffering.

Ishaq Dar specifically called for the immediate cessation of violence in Gaza and the end of the occupation of Palestinian territories. He highlighted that the rights and aspirations of the people in affected regions must be respected to achieve lasting peace.
Dar also spoke about the importance of resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people. He stressed that dialogue and cooperation are essential to achieve a fair and sustainable solution.

During his visit to Brussels, Ishaq Dar met with German Foreign Minister Johannes Wadeson, where both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in defense, politics, economy, trade, investment, and education. The discussions reinforced Pakistan’s stance on peace and human rights, marking a significant Ishaq Dar statement on Gaza and Palestinian lands at the EU forum.
