He stressed that coordinated national efforts and institutional synergy are crucial for ensuring long-term peace, stability, and prosperity in the country. The statement was made during a visit to the General Headquarters (GHQ) by participants of the National Security Workshop–27 (NSW-27) on Wednesday.

During the visit, the NSW-27 delegation was briefed on Pakistan’s regional security situation and internal security challenges. They also engaged in an interactive session with General Munir, who highlighted the complex regional environment. The COAS spoke about the increasing geopolitical competition, cross-border terrorism, and hybrid threats that Pakistan faces. He emphasized the importance of national unity in overcoming these challenges.

General Munir acknowledged the difficulties posed by externally supported militancy and information warfare. Despite these threats, he praised Pakistan’s Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement for their professionalism and resolve. The COAS noted that Pakistan’s security forces continue to demonstrate unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation. He expressed confidence that Pakistan is destined to take its rightful place among global nations.

The session also covered ongoing national efforts against illegal activities, including smuggling and narcotics trafficking. The delegation was briefed on enhanced border controls and the repatriation of illegal foreigners. These measures aim to maintain internal security and protect Pakistan’s national interests. General Munir assured that the Pakistan Army would continue to protect the territorial integrity and security of every citizen without compromise.

Concluding the session, General Munir reaffirmed the Army’s support for both federal and provincial governments. He emphasized that peace, stability, and prosperity can only be achieved through coordinated national efforts.
