After significant price hikes in recent days, the price of gold remained stable on Thursday in both global and Pakistani markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold stayed at Rs438,862 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold remained unchanged at Rs376,253.
The price of 22-karat gold also held steady, with 10 grams priced at Rs344,911. This stability in gold prices follows recent fluctuations, where the yellow metal saw sharp increases. Despite the changes in recent days, the price of gold has not seen any new adjustments in the markets, both locally and internationally.
In the global market, gold prices remained unchanged as well, continuing to be sold for $4,165 per ounce. This global stability comes after a period of volatility, with gold prices fluctuating based on market trends. The price of gold, a key investment commodity, continues to attract attention from investors and consumers alike.
On the other hand, silver prices followed an upward trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs160, reaching Rs5,642. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver rose to Rs4,837, reflecting the growing demand for the metal.
Despite gold prices holding steady, the rise in silver prices has captured attention in the local market. As both gold and silver remain key assets for investors, the price movements in these precious metals continue to be closely watched by the public.
