The government has announced new restrictions at Adiala Jail, and officials said that Adiala jail meeting ban will now apply to Uzma Khan as well. Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar stated that rules have been violated repeatedly, which is why meetings of all individuals involved in these violations have been suspended. He added that this step has been taken to ensure proper law and order outside the jail.

During a press conference with the law minister, Atta Tarar said that the three sisters of the PTI founder often caused disturbances outside the jail. According to him, anyone who breaks the rules will face the same action, and the jail administration has been instructed to strictly follow the law. He also clarified that no one will be allowed to misuse their meeting rights.

Atta Tarar said that it is not acceptable that people meet inside and then create propaganda outside. He added that Uzma Khan claimed the PTI founder was angry and frustrated, but this cannot justify creating disorder. He said his own family also met jailed relatives in the past, yet they never created any law-and-order issue.

The minister further stated that those who caused this situation should have thought about it before being involved in the £190 million corruption case. He warned that if any disturbance occurs outside the jail now, strict action will be taken. He added that the state will maintain its authority, and no one will be allowed to weaken national security by creating chaos outside the prison.

Atta Tarar said that the PTI founder is a convicted prisoner and is receiving more facilities than any other inmate in Pakistan’s history. He mentioned that no other prisoner has ever been provided a jogging machine or similar comforts. With these new steps, the government aims to prevent further issues outside the prison, and once again highlighted that the Adiala jail meeting ban will be implemented without any exceptions.
