Over 100 Children martyred in Gaza Despite Ceasefire

Despite the ceasefire in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes and ground operations have martyred at least 100 Palestinian children, raising serious concerns among international humanitarian organizations.
According to an international news agency, the United Nations children’s agency UNICEF reported that since early October, at least 60 boys and 40 girls have lost their lives in Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.
Speaking to journalists in Geneva, UNICEF spokesperson James Elder said that more than 100 children have been martyred in Gaza since the ceasefire began, meaning that nearly one child is dying every day even during the truce.
UNICEF stated that children in Gaza are being martyred by airstrikes, tank shelling, direct gunfire, suicide drone attacks, and quadcopter assaults.

James Elder emphasized that a ceasefire which merely slows the bombing but continues to bury children under rubble serves no real humanitarian purpose.
Meanwhile, an official from Gaza’s Ministry of Health claimed that the number of children killed during the fragile ceasefire has reached 165.
According to health authorities, total fatalities during the ceasefire period have risen to 442, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
