Kite String Injures Two Children in Rawalpindi Area

RAWALLPINDI – A dangerous incident occurred in Gulistan Colony when a metal kite string seriously injured a five-year-old child.
The children, Abubakar and his one-year-old brother Daniyal, were riding a motorcycle with their maternal uncle during the accident. The sharp string caused a deep neck wound to Abubakar and injured Daniyal as well.
Police have registered an FIR against an unidentified kite flyer under Section 324 for attempted murder and provisions of the Anti-Kite Flying Act. Authorities warned of zero tolerance against illegal kite flying.

Both children were immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment. They received care and were later discharged in stable condition.
Meanwhile, authorities launched raids to arrest the suspect responsible for the attack. Officials urged the public to follow safety laws to prevent similar accidents.
