Gold Prices Fall for Fourth Day in Global Markets

Gold prices continued to decline in Pakistan and international markets. The precious metal recorded its fourth consecutive day of losses.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped significantly. It fell by Rs1,800 and reached Rs522,762.
the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased. It dropped by Rs1,543 and settled at Rs448,184.
the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined. It fell by Rs1,414 and reached Rs410,850.

the downward trend was not limited to Pakistan. Gold prices also declined in the international bullion market.
In the global market, gold fell by $18 per ounce. As a result, the price reached around $5,000 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola fell by Rs100 to Rs8,441. Additionally, 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs86 and reached Rs7,236.
