Peshawar Zalmi Defeat Islamabad United Reach PSL Final

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 70 runs to qualify for the PSL 11 final. The match took place in Karachi, where Zalmi delivered a dominant performance in both batting and bowling.
In the Pakistan Super League qualifier, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and chose to field first. However, Peshawar Zalmi took full advantage and set a strong target with aggressive batting.
Zalmi scored 221 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Moreover, Babar Azam played a brilliant innings of 103 runs off 59 balls. In addition, Mohammad Haris scored 35 runs, while Kusal Mendis added 41 runs to strengthen the total.

Islamabad United struggled in the chase and collapsed for 151 runs. Furthermore, Samir Munir top-scored with 44 runs, but Zalmi bowlers dominated as Aaron Hardie took 3 wickets and others shared key breakthroughs.
As a result, Peshawar Zalmi reached the PSL 11 final for the fifth time, becoming the most frequent finalist in the league’s history. However, Islamabad United still have another chance as they will play Eliminator 2 for survival in the tournament.
