Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support during the recent Israeli and US attacks on Iran.

In a statement posted in Urdu on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Araghchi thanked the government and people of Pakistan for standing with Iran during a time of heightened regional tensions.

He said that during these blessed and spiritual days, he sincerely appreciates Pakistan’s strong expression of solidarity with the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of what he described as aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime.

The Iranian foreign minister stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains steadfast in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity while placing full trust in God.

According to Araghchi, Iran is determined to safeguard its national interests and will continue to resist external aggression while protecting its people and territory.

Earlier, during a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, Iran’s envoy also thanked Pakistan for its principled stance regarding the attacks on Iran.

Analysts say the recent developments have highlighted growing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran as both countries emphasize the importance of regional stability and cooperation.
