A video message released by a Kashmiri youth from the main market area of Pahalgam in Indian-administered Kashmir has gained attention on social media after he expressed support for Pakistan’s armed forces and military leadership.

In the video, the youth claimed that the people of Kashmir had rejected what he described as misleading narratives and propaganda surrounding the Pahalgam incident and alleged false flag operations. He stated that the situation reflected growing dissatisfaction among Kashmiris with the policies of the Indian government.

The speaker in the video praised Pakistan’s military response and leadership, saying that the people of Kashmir stood with Pakistan’s armed forces. He further warned that any future aggressive actions by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would receive a strong response that future generations would remember.

The youth also criticised the Indian government, alleging that political narratives were being used to influence public opinion for electoral gains. He claimed that despite political successes, the Indian leadership was facing increasing criticism and resistance in the region.

According to the video message, the people of occupied Kashmir continue to emotionally identify with Pakistan. The youth stated that the hearts of Kashmiris “beat with Pakistan,” reflecting sentiments that have often surfaced in politically charged discussions related to the disputed territory.

The video has circulated widely online, drawing mixed reactions across social media platforms. Supporters described it as evidence of pro-Pakistan sentiment among sections of the Kashmiri population, while critics questioned the broader representation of the views expressed in the clip.

Political analysts say such videos often become part of the wider information battle between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir dispute, particularly during periods of heightened regional tensions.

The development comes amid continued political and diplomatic friction between the two neighboring countries over the long-standing Kashmir issue, which remains a major point of contention in South Asia.
