ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Law and Justice has appointed two additional judges to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) following the approval of President Asif Ali Zardari.

The newly appointed judges, Muhammad Azam Khan and Inaam Ameen Minhas, will assume their roles as additional judges. They are set to take their oath on Monday in a ceremony at the IHC.

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq will administer the oath of office to Azam Khan and Inaam Ameen Minhas during the event.

The appointments came after the Judicial Commission of Pakistan held two meetings on January 17. The first meeting focused on considering nominations for additional judges to the IHC, while the second addressed the nomination of additional judges for the High Court of Balochistan.
