Freezing of Aleema Khan’s Bank Accounts

Rawalpindi: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has ordered the seizure of the passport and national identity card of Aleema Khan, sister of the PTI founder, along with freezing her bank accounts over her repeated absence from court proceedings.

The court also directed NADRA and immigration authorities to ensure immediate compliance, while ordering the confiscation of her guarantor Umar Sharif’s property.

During the hearing, Judge Amjad Ali Shah expressed displeasure, noting that “Aleema Khan is visible everywhere but never appears before the court.”

The court said that despite multiple opportunities, the accused failed to appear, leading to the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants for the fourth time.

The hearing was adjourned till October 27, in connection with a case related to the November 26 protest, in which 11 individuals including Aleema Khan are named as accused.

According to investigation updates submitted in court, law enforcement agencies have identified Aleema Khan’s possible locations and are intensifying efforts for her arrest.

This development marks a significant legal escalation against the PTI founder’s family, with the court signaling that continued defiance of court orders will have serious consequences.

RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan. The warrant relates to a protest case from November 26, 2025.

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah conducted the hearing. Aleema Khan did not appear despite an earlier bailable warrant issued for her. She was due to be indicted in the case registered at Sadiqabad Police Station but failed to attend.

Her lawyer requested exemption from appearing in court, but the plea was rejected. The court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant and adjourned the hearing until the next day.

The case involves clashes between PTI supporters and security forces during a banned public gathering and lockdown on November 26.

Separately, Barrister Ali Zafar confirmed that Imran Khan has instructed Aleema Khan and KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to avoid making further public statements. Imran Khan reportedly expressed disappointment over recent remarks that were harming the party’s image.
