Former senator and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has been released from Israeli detention after five days in custody. He shared a video message on his official Facebook page after reaching Jordan safely. Mushtaq Ahmad was part of a group of 150 aid workers heading to Gaza. Israeli forces intercepted their aid flotilla before it could reach its destination. The group was part of the Global Samood Flotilla, which set sail from Spain.

In the video, Mushtaq Ahmad described the harsh conditions they faced during detention. He said they were held at the notorious Ketziot prison in the desert. Detainees were handcuffed, blindfolded, shackled, and attacked by dogs, he claimed. He accused Israeli forces of torture and mistreatment. The group launched a three-day hunger strike to protest the abuse and demand basic rights.

According to Mushtaq, detainees were denied food, water, medicines, and other essential supplies. Despite the harsh treatment, he said the group remained determined. He thanked supporters and urged people to continue standing with Palestine. He stressed that the mission was not over, even after their release. He said they will return to Gaza again.

Mushtaq Ahmad confirmed that the group has now reached Jordan and is recovering. He promised to share the full story once he returns to Pakistan. His statement sparked strong reactions from supporters across social media. Many praised the group’s courage and commitment to Gaza. The video has been widely circulated and received with sympathy.

He ended his message with a powerful vow to continue the struggle for Palestine. “The resistance will go on,” he said. Mushtaq also thanked the international community for its support. He said their release was a victory for the Palestinian cause. For now, the focus shifts to their safe return home and the next steps in their campaign.
