Resolution of all issues with India begins with Kashmir: Bilawal Bhutto

London: Leading a diplomatic delegation formed on the Prime Minister’s directive to counter Indian aggression, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that the resolution of all disputes with India must start with Kashmir.
Speaking at a press briefing, the former Foreign Minister emphasised that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state that has consistently prioritised dialogue and diplomacy. However, he warned that any attempt by India to block Pakistan’s water supply would be considered an act of war.
Bilawal asserted that India cannot unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, as water is Pakistan’s lifeline and non-negotiable. He also accused India of deliberately spreading misinformation and disinformation, especially in the wake of the Pahalgam incident, where Pakistan had offered independent investigations, but India rejected the offer.
He reiterated his appreciation for U.S. President Donald Trump’s role in de-escalating tensions, adding that the absence of a structured conflict resolution mechanism between two nuclear-armed neighbours remains a serious concern.
