China Envoy Meets Fazlur Rehman, Discusses Regional Situation and Bilateral Ties

China’s Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed the regional situation and bilateral ties in detail. The meeting took place with a delegation and focused on peace, stability, and strengthening Pakistan-China relations.

Moreover, both sides agreed on the need for joint efforts to ensure lasting peace in the region. They emphasized resolving disputes through peaceful means. They also highlighted that dialogue and cooperation remain essential for maintaining stability.

In addition, the discussion covered the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and its role in regional development. Both sides agreed that cooperation between JUI and China could bring positive outcomes for regional peace and economic growth.

Furthermore, Ambassador Jiang stated that recent attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel violate international law and Iran’s sovereignty. He warned that delays in a ceasefire could harm economies across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.

Finally, Fazlur Rehman reaffirmed his party’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan-China relations. He said JUI will continue to play a constructive role in this regard. He concluded by stressing that stronger neighborly ties are vital for the regional situation and bilateral ties going forward.
