Cricket world celebrates former captain Younis Khan’s 46th birthday

The cricket world is celebrating the 46th birthday of Pakistan’s former cricket captain, Younis Khan, born on November 29, 1977, in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Over his illustrious career, Younis Khan earned a reputation for exceptional skills and leadership, becoming one of Pakistan’s most respected cricket figures.

Younis Khan’s career spanned from 2000 to 2017, during which he became a key figure in Pakistan’s cricketing success. Notably, he remains the only Pakistani cricketer to have scored over 10,000 runs in Test cricket, with a remarkable 10,099 runs to his name.

In addition to his achievements, Younis Khan played a pivotal role in some of Pakistan’s most memorable cricket moments. In 2016, he captained Pakistan to their first-ever Test series victory against Australia, a historic achievement that added to his Furthermore, his contributions were vital in Pakistan’s triumph in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, where the team secured a stunning victory under his guidance.
