Engineering Agreement Signed Between Pakistan and China

Islamabad: A historic agreement has been signed between the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the China Society of Engineers, paving the way for expanded employment opportunities for Pakistani engineers in China.
Under the agreement, both countries will establish a mutual recognition framework for the professional qualifications of engineers, promoting collaboration and enabling Pakistani experts to actively participate in Belt and Road projects.
Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Waseem Nazir, stated that this agreement reflects international confidence in the skills and capabilities of Pakistani engineers.
He expressed optimism that the initiative will boost the services sector and contribute to an increase in foreign remittances.
