Two foreign women marry Pakistani men in Kot Addu after traveling all the way from Bulgaria and Japan. The two women came to the town of Sinawan, near Kot Addu, to marry their Pakistani partners after accepting Islam. Their marriages attracted local attention as a symbol of love beyond borders and faith.

One of the brides, Stefanowa from Bulgaria, accepted Islam and took the name Maryam. She married Adnan Gurmani, a young man from Kot Addu. The other bride, Ashimoto Aki from Japan, became Dua Fatima after embracing Islam and married Shoaib Gashkori.

Both weddings took place at Jamia Anwar-ul-Islam Seminary in Kot Addu, where the two women publicly accepted Islam and then performed their religious (Sharia) marriage ceremonies. Local religious leaders guided them through the process and blessed the unions.

After their Nikah, the women returned to their home countries to complete the required legal documents for registration. Once their paperwork is done, both couples will register their marriages officially in Pakistan.
