Fuel Price Hike Sparks Protests as Fazlur Rehman Announces Action

The recent fuel price hike sparks protests as Fazlur Rehman announced nationwide demonstrations this Friday. He said the increase has shaken every citizen and made daily life harder. Therefore, his party plans to raise a strong public voice against rising costs.
Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, he shared that his party’s central council held a two-day meeting. During the session, leaders reviewed both national and international situations. Moreover, they discussed economic pressure and its impact on ordinary people.
He strongly criticized the fuel price increase and said it has taken away public peace. As a result, he confirmed that protests will take place across the country on Friday. Meanwhile, he urged citizens to participate and express their concerns through peaceful demonstrations.

In addition, he demanded the repeal of several laws he described as against religious principles. These include laws related to domestic violence, transgender rights, and restrictions on underage marriages. He also raised concerns about proposed property rights changes for spouses.
Furthermore, he criticized the current government and called it weak and dependent on political support. He announced a major gathering on April 12 in Mardan to strengthen opposition efforts.
