Islamabad: The government has announced revised prices for petroleum products for the next 15 days. According to the latest notification, there has been no change in the price of petrol, while prices of other petroleum products have been reduced.
As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain unchanged at Rs. 252.63 per liter. However, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs. 2 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs. 254.64 per liter.
Additionally, the price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs. 5.04 per liter, setting the new price at Rs. 164.65 per liter. Light diesel oil has seen a reduction of Rs. 4.68 per liter, with the new price fixed at Rs. 150.65 per liter.
These revised prices will be effective from May 16 to May 31, 2025. The price adjustments are part of the government’s effort to pass on the impact of global oil market fluctuations and provide relief to the public.
