Helpline established for Pakistani pilgrims and citizens in Iran

In light of the escalating regional tensions, the Government of Pakistan has established a dedicated helpline for Pakistani citizens and pilgrims currently in Iran to ensure their safety and provide immediate assistance.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that a crisis management unit has been activated at the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran, which will remain operational 24 hours a day. He added that the embassy has been issued clear instructions to monitor the situation closely and assist Pakistani nationals as needed.
In case of any emergency or need for assistance, Pakistani citizens and visitors in Iran are advised to contact the helpline at (0098)-2166941388.
“The safety and well-being of our citizens abroad is our top priority,” said the foreign minister. “We are fully alert at the diplomatic level and taking all necessary measures.”
