ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule to Be Announced Today

The ICC will announce the official schedule of the T20 World Cup 2026 today in Mumbai. The mega event will be held from February 7 to March 8, 2026, with India and Sri Lanka serving as joint hosts.
According to sources, the tournament will feature 20 teams, divided into four groups. Similar to the previous edition, the top two teams from each group will move into the Super Eight stage. The eight qualifying teams will then be split into two groups, from which the top two of each will advance to the semifinals.
Pakistan and India in the Same Group
Sources confirm that Pakistan and India have been placed in the same group, alongside USA, Namibia, and the Netherlands. The highly anticipated India–Pakistan clash is expected to take place on February 15.

Host Cities and Venues
Pakistan and India are scheduled to play their group match in Colombo, while the Pakistan team will play all its matches in Sri Lanka.

Colombo and Kandy
Ahmedabad has been shortlisted to host the final, but if Pakistan qualifies, the final will be shifted to Colombo.
For the semifinals, Mumbai and Kolkata have been selected; however, if Pakistan qualifies for the semifinal, the match will be relocated to Colombo.
