India Failed to Down Any Pakistani Aircraft During War, Says DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI  – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that during the Pakistan-India conflict, India did not succeed in downing a single Pakistani aircraft.

In an interview with Bloomberg, the DG ISPR highlighted that Pakistan’s defense strategy is based on effective planning, reliable platforms, and the integration of indigenous technology.

He emphasized that Pakistan remains open to acquiring technology from any source — whether domestic, Eastern, or Western — to enhance its defense capabilities.

He added that Pakistan is not engaged in an arms race with India and has never tried to manipulate or conceal facts and figures.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif further confirmed that in the recent conflict, Indian forces failed to destroy any Pakistani aircraft.

The interview also acknowledged the strong performance of Chinese-made platforms and weapons integrated into Pakistan’s armed forces.
