Iran Supports Pakistan-Saudi Defense Agreement for Muslim Security

Iranian President Masoud Pazeshkian strongly condemned Israeli attacks during the United Nations General Assembly meeting. He welcomed the recent defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, saying it could be the beginning of a shared security system for Muslim countries.

President Pazeshkian criticized Israel for attacking Gaza and other places, calling these acts not only aggression but also diplomatic deception. He also condemned Israeli strikes on Hamas leadership in Doha, Qatar.

He mentioned that in June, clashes between Iran and Israel caused severe damage to Iran, including the loss of innocent children and scientists. He called Israeli aggression one of the biggest threats to peace in the region.

The Iranian president emphasized that it is time for Muslim countries to adopt a common plan of action. He said that regional security cannot be achieved through force but through trust, better communication, and cooperation.

Finally, President Pazeshkian said the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement could serve as the foundation for a shared security system in the Muslim world. He repeated that strengthening cooperation among Muslim countries is key to regional peace and security.
