A deadly Islamabad G-11 court suicide blast took place on Tuesday afternoon, killing 12 people and injuring many others. The explosion happened near the district court in the G-11 sector around 12:30 p.m., spreading fear across the area as the loud blast was heard miles away. Police and rescue teams quickly reached the scene and began moving the injured to nearby hospitals.

According to police reports, the attacker was riding a motorcycle and detonated explosives near a police vehicle parked close to the court. The powerful explosion set nearby vehicles on fire and scattered body parts of the bomber inside the courthouse. Three vehicles, including one police car and two private cars, were damaged in the attack.

Officials confirmed that 12 people lost their lives while more than 20 were wounded, including lawyers and visitors who were at the court for hearings. All injured were taken to PIMS Hospital, where an emergency was declared. Security forces sealed off the area and began collecting evidence to identify the bomber and his possible accomplices.

Police sources suspect that the attack was linked to groups allegedly supported by Indian and Afghan networks, calling it a continuation of extremist proxy activities in the region. The law enforcement agencies have started a full investigation to trace the handlers behind the assault.
