ISPR Chief Exposes Indian Officers’ Terror Involvement

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan. He said there is strong proof that serving Indian Army officers are involved in terrorist activities inside Pakistan. He added that Pakistan has shared this evidence with the international community many times. The general emphasized that India’s extremist policies have increased violent incidents within its own borders. He accused India of confusing internal and external problems to cover up its actions.
In the interview, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif spoke about Afghan refugees who have stayed in Pakistan for over 40 years. He said Pakistan made several efforts to ensure their safe and dignified return to Afghanistan. The deadline for refugees to return has been extended multiple times due to humanitarian reasons. He pointed out that foreign interference and civil war in Afghanistan no longer justify the continued presence of refugees in Pakistan. He warned that illegal Afghan nationals are involved in terrorism and serious crimes in Pakistan.
The ISPR chief also highlighted the threat from weapons left behind after the U.S. withdrew from Afghanistan. He said these weapons are now used in attacks within Pakistan. Even the United States has expressed concerns about this misuse. He stressed Pakistan’s commitment to fighting terrorism and noted that no non-state actor is allowed to operate or declare jihad in the country. He praised Pakistan’s sacrifices as a frontline state in the global war against terrorism.
Regarding the Kashmir conflict, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif urged the international community to help resolve the long-standing dispute. He insisted that Pakistan rejects all armed groups and only the state has authority over security matters. He also mentioned the recent Pakistan-India conflict, called Marka-e-Haq, and credited former U.S. President Donald Trump with strategic leadership in the issue. The general revealed that the U.S. has labeled the Majid Brigade as a global terrorist organization.
Finally, the DG ISPR talked about Pakistan’s strong ties with China. He said the relationship is constructive and strategic. He also reported that terrorists killed in operations in Balochistan were once listed as “missing persons.” This shows Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to maintain security and peace within its borders.
