Most-Wanted Terrorist Linked to “Fitna al-Khawarij” Arrested in Karachi’s Shershah Area

Karachi: In a major counter-terrorism success, Sindh Rangers and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) have arrested a most-wanted terrorist associated with the outlawed group Fitna al-Khawarij during a joint operation in Shershah.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, the arrested suspect, identified as Muhammad Noor alias Khum, was apprehended following a credible intelligence tip-off. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from his possession.
During initial interrogation, the suspect confessed to involvement in multiple acts of target killings, extortion, bomb attacks, and kidnappings for ransom.

The spokesperson added that Noor joined the terrorist network of Qayyum Mehsud in 2010 and later became part of Abid Machhar’s target-killing team in 2012.
Many of his accomplices have been killed or arrested during Karachi’s security operations in recent years.
The suspect reportedly went into hiding in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the 2015 Karachi operation to evade arrest.
According to officials, several criminal cases are registered against him at Manghopir and Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police stations. Further investigation is currently underway.
