Digital Reforms in Registration System
In a related development, NADRA recently launched a nationwide digital system for the registration of births and deaths. This system, developed in partnership with provincial governments, is being implemented in hospitals and health centres across Pakistan to simplify and modernize the registration process.
These reforms are in line with the National Biometric and Registration Policy Framework, approved by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif earlier this year, on January 1, 2025.
