Nawaz Sharif Expresses Grief Over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Flood Tragedy

Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the devastating floods caused heartbreaking incidents, leading to tragic deaths and widespread grief among affected families.
In his statement, Nawaz Sharif extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He noted that the entire nation stands with those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy. He added that the incident is a national tragedy that requires unity and compassion.

Sharif also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace. He asked God to grant strength to the families of the victims during this difficult time. His message emphasised solidarity with flood victims across the region.

Torrential rains and flash floods have caused massive destruction in the Buner and Swat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Buner, 75 people lost their lives, while five deaths were reported in Swat. Among the victims were eight schoolchildren. Authorities have declared an emergency in Buner as rescue operations continue in the affected areas.
