Pakistan Army Destroys Key Taliban Camps in Major Cross-Border Counteroffensive

In a powerful counterattack, the Pakistan Army destroyed several key Afghan Taliban camps near the Spin Boldak sector. The Ismatullah Karar Camp, a major Taliban base, was completely demolished during the operation. This camp had long served as a launchpad for attacks on Pakistan. Military sources said the response followed recent cross-border assaults by Taliban and allied terrorist groups. State-run PTV shared footage showing the total destruction of Taliban strongholds.

According to security officials, the operation targeted multiple Taliban facilities. These included Barykot Base Camp, Durrani Camp, Manoja Camp, and Jandoser Post. Other destroyed positions were Turkmanzai Post and Karzai Post. The army reported killing several Taliban fighters during the strikes. Many others fled, leaving behind weapons and uniforms. The army described the response as strong and unforgettable.

The offensive also struck terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan’s Kurram and Bajaur regions. Air and ground forces destroyed camps in Shpola Hala, Barabcha, Duran Mela, and Lev. These areas were reportedly used to train and support anti-Pakistan militants. The army said the training centers are now in ruins. Officials confirmed that long-standing threats from across the border were being eliminated.

During the operation, Pakistani forces captured 21 Taliban positions. Soldiers raised the national flag over several captured posts. This marked a symbolic and strategic victory for Pakistan. Military officials said the Afghan regime was shocked by the speed and force of the strikes. Taliban strongholds, long believed untouchable, were reduced to rubble.

This large-scale response followed continued attacks on Pakistani soil. Officials said the goal was to end cross-border terrorism for good. The operation highlights Pakistan’s shift to direct, targeted retaliation. Security analysts called the campaign a major blow to Taliban capabilities. The army declared it a clear message: attacks on Pakistan will meet decisive force.
