Pakistani sports psychologist and international shooting champion Mohsin Nawaz has praised the Pakistan Army and Punjab government for organizing the historic World Boxing Championship in Lahore. He said the event was a major achievement for the country and helped improve Pakistan’s image on the global sports stage.

The four-day event, titled “Fight for Glory”, took place from November 26 to 29 at Jinnah Sports Complex. Forty-four top boxers from 15 countries participated, turning Lahore into an important center for international boxing and giving Pakistan a chance to host athletes from across the world.

Mohsin Nawaz said that events like this are important for building Pakistan’s reputation. As a sports psychologist, he believes such international competitions show the world that Pakistan has strong organizational skills, good hospitality, and the ability to host major sports events successfully.

The championship was organized by the Punjab government, Lahore Corps, and Fauji Foundation with support from the World Boxing Association (WBA). Nawaz called the event a “game-changer” for Pakistan’s sports industry and appreciated the coordination, security, and overall management by the organizers.

In his message, Mohsin Nawaz added that young people gain confidence and inspiration when they see global athletes performing in Pakistan. He also promised to support future sports projects and said this historic World Boxing Championship would continue to benefit Pakistan’s sports image for many years.
