Pakistan, Morocco Boost Defence Ties as MoU Signed for Cooperation

Pakistan and Morocco signed a memorandum of understanding for defence cooperation, reaffirming commitment to strengthen security partnership and promote peace, stability, and mutual cooperation, marking a significant step in bilateral relations between the two countries.
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is on an official visit to Morocco, where the agreement was signed, and high level meetings focused on expanding defence ties and enhancing long term strategic cooperation between both friendly nations.
Both sides agreed to strengthen defence and security collaboration, increase institutional linkages, and exchanged views on regional and global situations, reaffirming shared resolve to support peace, stability, and cooperative security efforts across the wider region.
After conclusion of meetings, delegations exchanged gifts, as Pakistan’s Defence Minister presented his Moroccan counterpart a football made in Pakistan, symbolizing friendship, goodwill, and growing defence cooperation between both countries at the official diplomatic level.
