Pakistan Will Always Protect the Holy Sites of Makkah and Madinah: PM Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed that Pakistan will always remain the guardian of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, emphasizing the country’s unwavering devotion to Islam’s sacred sites.

Speaking after a luncheon hosted in honor of the visiting Saudi delegation, the Prime Minister said that every Muslim is ready to sacrifice their life for the protection of the holy places.

He highlighted that the Pakistan–Saudi Defense Agreement symbolizes the deep brotherly bond between the two nations, underscoring that Pakistan will continue to stand firm as the protector of Makkah and Madinah.

PM Shehbaz stressed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia should work together to transform their shared economic vision into reality, enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, research, and development.

Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, addressing the event, stated that the Saudi delegation is in Pakistan for the Pakistan-Saudi Joint Business Council meeting.

He assured that the Saudi business community would be facilitated for investment in Pakistan.
