Pakistan’s missile strikes forced India into a ceasefire, reveals U.S. Journalist

U.S. journalist and CNN’s International Diplomatic Editor, Nick Robertson, has revealed that Pakistan’s decisive missile strikes compelled India to agree to a ceasefire.

In a televised interview, Robertson stated that while global diplomatic efforts had been underway for days to deescalate tensions, it was India’s attack on Pakistani airbases that shifted the situation dramatically. In response, Pakistan launched a powerful missile counteroffensive, described as a “barrage of unstoppable missiles,” which forced India to return to the negotiation table.

Robertson further disclosed that the U.S. Secretary of State reached out to officials in Saudi Arabia and Türkiye to help mediate the crisis. Their involvement contributed to a diplomatic resolution, making the ceasefire possible.

It is worth noting that during Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs (Iron Wall), Pakistan targeted over 10 critical Indian military installations, inflicting significant damage and tipping the balance in its favour.
