Petrol Price Unchanged, Diesel Becomes Costlier

The government has announced revised petroleum prices for the next 15 days.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs. 2.78 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 272.77 per litre.
The updated prices will take effect from midnight tonight and will remain in place until October 1.

A downward trend was observed today in both international and local bullion markets, as gold and silver prices dropped slightly.
In the global market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $2, bringing it down to $3,643. Following this, local bullion markets also recorded a decrease, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs. 200 to Rs. 386,300.
