Petrol Prices Likely to Rise from September 16
Islamabad: The prices of petroleum products in Pakistan are likely to increase from September 16, as industry sources have proposed a revision for the next 15 days.

According to details, the per-litre price of petrol is expected to rise by Rs1.54, while high-speed diesel may see a significant increase of Rs4.79 per litre. Similarly, kerosene oil could go up by Rs3.06, and light diesel oil by Rs3.68 per litre.

The final decision on petroleum prices will be made on September 15, when the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) submits its price determination summary to the government.

The proposed prices will be sent to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for final approval. Once approved, the Ministry of Finance will issue an official notification, which will set the revised rates effective from September 16.
