PM declares May 10 as “Marka-e-Haq” to mark Operation Banyan Marsus victory

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that May 10 will be observed annually as” Marka-e-Haq” to commemorate the success of Operation Banyan Marsus.
The Prime Minister said the day will be celebrated nationwide with patriotism, unity, and national spirit, in recognition of the armed forces’ professional excellence and heroic achievements.
He further declared May 16 (Friday) as the “Day of Gratitude”, to honour the Pakistan Armed Forces and offer special prayers, Nawafil, and thanksgiving for the nation’s security and progress.
PM Shehbaz Sharif also announced a Martyrs’ Compensation Package:
Rs. 10 million for families of civilians martyred in the operation
Rs. 1 to 2 million for those injured
The Prime Minister praised the armed forces for making the nation proud and reaffirmed support for the families of those who sacrificed their lives.
