PM Shehbaz Sharif Prioritizes Affordable Housing and Easy Loans

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making home ownership accessible for every citizen, emphasizing that providing affordable housing and easy loan facilities remains a top priority.
The remarks came during a high-level meeting chaired by the prime minister to review measures aimed at promoting investment in the housing and construction sector.
During the session, task forces and working groups on construction and housing presented their recommendations, focusing on low-cost housing initiatives and job creation in the sector.
Sharif highlighted that accelerating growth in the construction industry could generate millions of employment opportunities across the country.

He also stressed the importance of restoring the confidence of overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors by ensuring full protection of their investments.
The prime minister directed relevant authorities to remove all legal and administrative barriers hindering investment and to formulate a practical strategy for immediate implementation.
He further instructed that all stakeholders, including construction experts and investors, should be involved in policymaking to ensure decisions align with ground realities.
Reiterating his vision, Sharif stated that owning a home is a fundamental right of every Pakistani and the government, in collaboration with the private sector, is determined to turn this vision into reality.
