Relief Priority Assured as PM Vows Support in hard times, as Shehbaz Sharif said the government will not leave people alone during economic difficulties. He emphasized that providing relief to the common citizen remains the top priority. He added that urgent steps are being taken to support vulnerable groups.

Moreover, a high-level meeting was held in Islamabad under his chairmanship. Federal ministers Musadik Malik, Attaullah Tarar, and Ali Pervaiz Malik attended the session. The meeting focused on reviewing petroleum reserves and ongoing public relief measures.

In addition, officials briefed the prime minister on the availability of petroleum products. They confirmed that sufficient reserves exist to meet national demand. Therefore, the government aims to ensure stability and avoid supply disruptions during challenging times.

Furthermore, the prime minister announced that financial relief for public transport and freight vehicles has already begun. He said funds are being distributed through digital wallets to ensure transparency. He added that subsidies are now being transferred directly to buses and goods transport vehicles.
