After the meeting, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said that PPP did not demand an apology from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He added that the talks focused on PPP’s political concerns, not personal issues.
Rana Sanaullah further stated that the PPP will continue its protest and walkouts in the National Assembly. He also mentioned that the Prime Minister was supposed to meet Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto, but due to his visit to Malaysia, the meeting was delayed. He is expected to return tomorrow and address PPP’s concerns.
